About me
I’m Matteo Nuzzachi, a full stack developer specialising in e-commerce. For over ten years, I have built, deployed and maintained web applications, also taking care of infrastructure, performance and security. I combine development with technical SEO, analytics and marketing platform setup to connect technical decisions with the needs of the people who use and manage the website.
My experience
Before 2016 · Freelance
I built WordPress websites and an early custom e-commerce platform in PHP and JavaScript, integrated with Danea Easyfatt for catalogue, stock and sales data, with multiple payment gateways and carrier-specific shipping calculations.
2016 – July 2026 · Gieffe Plus
I managed technical client relationships throughout the lifecycle of over 90 websites: requirements, estimates, development, deployment and support. I worked with WordPress/WooCommerce, Magento 2, PrestaShop and React, also handling servers, compromised-site remediation, technical SEO and analytics. I trained a new colleague and mentored several interns. From January 2026, the role continued on a part-time basis.
2018 – 2019 · CMCC Foundation
Alongside my work at Gieffe Plus, I contributed to the redesign of cmcc.it: migrating posts, post types and custom fields, and developing widgets, WPBakery components and shortcodes.
Since January 2026 · Arundo · Part-time
I joined to complete the PrestaShop store’s backend and frontend work and bring it to production. I led the migration of the management system to Odoo. I am developing a CSV product import module and bidirectional integrations with Amazon and PrestaShop for products, orders, stock and prices, using Docker environments for development and testing.
